Oppinion time. I’m looking to replace the worn boot (and knob) on the S2000. The interior is a world of medium blue with a bit of black, so I was thinking of some highlight stitching. Here are some choices:
Fabric: black or blue (faux) Alcantara
Thread: light blue, orange, “Millennium Yellow,” or yellow
Update with sample

Not yellow, IMO. Way out of place and 90's ricer-y.
“Violety Blue” looks good to me.

Only one option - black alcantara boot with light blue contrast stitching. You have way too much blue in there for my taste, borderline 1990's.

Top (replacement) is black. Apparently (some?) tops on Suzuka exteriors were also blue, but that would make this thing the freaking blue-mobile.

I’ve always thought those blue S2k interiors were way too uniformly blue. Anything you can do to get some contrast in there is an improvement. I’d do something like black with gray stitching.

Mine was Suzuka/Nurburgring blue with blue interior and blue top. It’s like, how much more blue could this be? And the answer is none. None more blue.

sorry to say I’ve never been a huge fan of the blue s2000 interior, but if I had it I’d stay with the blue
possibly if I were open to a larger project, I’d keep the blue dash and such, but change the seats to black and add black highlights around, such as the shift boot

I'd go with a medium blue boot and black stitching. Unless you were changing some other pieces I think an accent color would be out of place on an otherwise monochromatic car.

Damn, that is a lot of blue. I say black with blue is the only acceptable choice here, unless you start replacing interior bits with less blue.

I have a rainbow wristband around mine, though it’s an automatic so it doesn’t have an actual boot and I’m not trying to make it look like one or anything.

It’s been a long while, considering the last time I saw you was igp. Which is going to be available on mobile some time this year! It got revamped and simplified without sacrificing anything for convenience.
